LookFantastic know how to do Easter! When I first set eyes on The Beauty Egg Collection*, my jaw dropped. Everything about the collection is impressive from the stunning packaging, the individually packaged eggs, the epic edit of products, to the experience of actually opening it all. It’s a true treat for any beauty junkie!
With 7 eggs, the contents of The Beauty Egg Collection is worth a whopping £200 and covers hair, skin, body and makeup. The crazy part is it costs £65(!!!!) which is insane for the products included. The eggs are all different metallic shades and are super fun to open – I got serious Harry Potter vibes cracking open the gold one (Goblet of Fire, anyone?!). Seriously though, LookFantastic have exceeded themselves with this collection. Here’s what’s inside…
Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm (50ml) and Professional Cleansing Cloth* The Moringa Cleansing Balm lifts away makeup, cleanses impurities and rids skin of dullness. It does all of that whilst smelling incredible and feeling joyous to use. The two-sided cloth is fab for gentle pore cleansing and removing makeup without being too rough on the skin.
NUXE, Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil (50ml full-size)* An iconic product for NUXE, the Dry Oil softens and repairs your hair and skin with 6 plant oils and vitamin E for ultimate hydration. If you’re after either super glossy hair or ridiculously soft skin, this is worth trying.
Kerastase, Aura Botanica Shampoo and Conditioner (80ml and 75ml)* Designed to revive dull hair, protect against frizz and leave your hair well-nourished, the Aura Botanica shampoo and conditioner uses 96% natural origin ingredients. The sweet orange essential oil smells stunning too.
Omorovicza, Illuminating Moisturiser (50ml full-size)* Omorovicza are quickly becoming a favourite of mine and this Illuminating Moisturiser has a lot to answer for – it’s beautiful. The formula is light but packs a punch, leaving your skin radiant, smoother and younger-looking. I didn’t really get the whole ‘lit from within’ concept until I tried this moisturiser.
Illamasqua, Beyond Veil (30ml full-size)* Illamasqua do primers so well. Beyond Veil is a gel formula that leaves your skin glowing and hydrated. Makeup genuinely stays on longer and sits so beautifully on top – I’ve been massively impressed with this.
Pixi, Rose Tonic (100ml)* Chances are you’ve tried Pixi’s Glow Tonic, but this Rose Tonic is a bit different. It restores moisture and tones the skin whilst balancing pH levels. It’s really good for sensitive skin, minimises redness and I love how gentle it is.
Elemis, Papaya Enzyme Peel (50ml full-size)* I’ve been seriously loving the Enzyme Peel. Firstly, it smells delicious thanks to papaya and pineapple. Secondly, it actually works wonders for your skin. The 7 active ingredients work to exfoliate, repair and protect the skin without abrasion.
It’s no surprise that the LookFantastic Beauty Egg Collection didn’t stick around long – it had a waiting list before it even launched! If you want to make sure you don’t miss out on next year’s, you can join the list here. That said, the good news is you can still pick up all of these goodies on LookFantastic, so if any of the products caught your eye, you can totally still treat yourself to a bit of Easter beauty shopping!
I’d love to know if you managed to get your hands on The Beauty Egg Collection, and do let me know if you’ve tried any of the products and what you think of them!
Sincerely, Sarah xx
