Did February fly by for anyone else, or was it just me? Even though the month went in the blink of an eye, I made a joyous foundation discovery, treated myself to a long overdue brow pamper and really stuck to my skincare routine. Here are the products and treatments that made up my February beauty favourites – it was a good 28 days.
The term miracle really doesn’t do this justice. The Teint Miracle foundation is the sister to Lancôme’s cult favourite foundation, Teint Idole. It’s a medium coverage, buildable foundation that gives you the most beautiful, natural glowing, dewy finish. It makes your skin look healthy and well-nourished whilst not sacrificing on staying power or coverage. There are 20 shades in the range and at £32 it’s worth every single penny.
I got my first brow wax at 14 and I’ve left brow grooming to the professionals ever since. I’ve been a loyal Blink Brow Bar customer for years now and this month I went in for my usual tint and thread. It’s definitely a beauty favourite of mine. I personally prefer threading to waxing for precision and a tint just gives me flexibility when it comes to product and how much I need. Blink are the ultimate professionals and I’ve never left disappointed. If you’re yet to give them a go, I can’t recommend them enough.
I’m a huge Embryolisse fan, and I can now list the Intense Smooth Radiant Complexion moisturiser as one of the reasons why. If you’re not a fan of thicker moisturisers, this won’t be for you, but if you like feeling like your skin is getting a real treat, you must give this a go. My skin is left feeling super smooth and looks juicy and radiant. With hyaluronic acid for hydration and vitamin E protecting against premature ageing, the velvety cream actually does great things for your skin beyond just making it feel good.
If you have blemish-prone or oily skin, Serozinc may well be your saviour. I have a combination skin so don’t use this all the time but I’ve been relying on it a lot these last 6-7 weeks. It leaves my skin looking mattified and feeling less shiny, but never tight or uncomfortable. I’ve had a noticeable decrease in the number of spots too, hence why this is in my beauty favourites – it really does work. Ingredients wise, there are three simple components: water, zinc sulphate and sodium chloride.
There you have my February beauty favourites. The list is small but trust me, it’s mighty. Let me know what you’ve been loving this month, and whether you’ve tried any of the products or treatments I’ve mentioned.
Sincerely, Sarah xx
